Fall in Seattle is exactly how I remember it. I find myself smiling as I drive through the light rain and low clouds. In the past I didn't appreciate the fall in the northwest. It felt like the weather was always the same and the seasons didn't really change. I loved all the colors of fall in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, but fall was also a reminder of winter. Cold, freezing, brown, and dirty. Months of shoveling the driveway, scrapping the car, and stuck indoors. Being the the northwest this year I am not so worried.
