I've officially passed the first of many mom tests: using my body as a human shield. Well, more like a human sponge with the amount of vomit I manged to soak up. My poor Jane had the stomach flu for the first time and I don't know who it traumatized more, me or her. What made matters worse was our washer couldn't handle all the small loads and kept shutting itself off. Luckily we didn't run out of towels and she is on the mend. It's amazing how your priorities change and what you can handle when you are a mom. I couldn't have done it without the help of Priesthood blessings, Pedialyte, and nice hot showers.

Oh, poor Jane! And poor you! But you're right, don't you feel empowered now? Look at what you can handle and it doesn't even faze you :D
